Brooke Hogan is speaking out after her estranged mother, Linda Hogan, publicly denied allegations that late wrestling icon Hulk Hogan had an affair with Brooke’s former best friend.
The 38-year-old actress and singer addressed the controversy in a statement to Us Weekly on September 25, saying she hopes her mother finds the help and healing she needs.
“She’s my mom, and I love her,” Brooke said. “But loving someone doesn’t mean allowing them to keep bullying you, publicly rewriting history or provoking you and expecting you to stay silent.”
The comments came after Linda, 67, responded to an Instagram post discussing Brooke’s account of her father’s alleged relationship with Christiane Plante. Linda wrote, “I was there and no he didn’t,” appearing to dispute the allegations.
The controversy dates back to 2008, when Christiane publicly claimed she had a sexual relationship with Hulk Hogan while his marriage to Linda was reportedly falling apart. At the time, Linda’s publicist said she had ended the marriage after discovering that Hulk had been involved with Brooke’s best friend.
Hulk Hogan never publicly addressed the allegations himself before his death in 2025. However, his publicist stated in 2009 that the relationship occurred when he believed his marriage to Linda was already irreparably damaged.
Brooke Hogan’s Estrangement From Her Family
Brooke’s relationship with her parents had already become strained before Hulk Hogan’s death. In March 2025, Linda revealed on Instagram that Brooke had stopped communicating with the family after getting married and welcoming twins.
Brooke later explained that her distance from her father was not caused by one major argument, but rather by a series of respectful disagreements that had taken an emotional toll.
In a July 2025 Instagram post, she said she had done everything she could for her father and found peace in knowing how deeply she had loved him.
Brooke, who shares 21-month-old twins Molly and Oliver with her husband, Steven Oleksy, has continued to maintain her distance from her parents.
The latest exchange has once again brought the Hogan family’s complicated history into the spotlight, with Brooke and Linda offering conflicting accounts of the events surrounding Hulk Hogan’s alleged affair.
