Victoria Beckham’s Business Finally Turns a Profit After Years of Losses
Victoria Beckham’s fashion and beauty empire has reached a major milestone, recording an operating profit for the first time since the company was founded in 2008.
Victoria Beckham Holdings Ltd, led by the former Spice Girls star as creative director, reported an operating profit of £7.3 million in 2025, according to its latest accounts. The result marks a dramatic turnaround after years of financial losses.
“We have all worked hard for a long time for this moment of profitability and growth,” Beckham told the Financial Times.
The designer also said the company had been open about the challenges it faced but had now recovered and was growing at a more sustainable pace.
“After 20 years, people don’t look at my brand as a celebrity brand any more,” she said.
Beauty Becomes a Major Success
The company’s transformation comes after years of restructuring and investment across both its fashion and beauty divisions.
Beckham’s fashion business recorded strong double-digit growth in 2025, while her beauty operation, launched in 2019, delivered one of its strongest performances to date.
A major driver was the success of her Foundation Drops, which attracted a waiting list of around 25,000 customers and helped double the size of the company’s skincare business.
Her Netflix documentary also played a role in increasing interest in the brand. The series showed Beckham discussing her efforts to establish herself as a serious designer and entrepreneur while revealing the financial difficulties the business had previously faced.
At one point, the company was reportedly tens of millions of pounds in debt.
Her husband, David Beckham, helped support the business during its difficult period. Victoria later acknowledged that without his belief in her, the company might not have survived.
In 2017, the business secured £30 million in investment by selling a 30% stake to NEO Investment Partners. The investment was followed by a major restructuring of the company.
From Huge Losses to Profit
The restructuring focused heavily on cutting waste and improving the way the business operated.
Beckham previously described some of the spending as “mindblowing,” including unnecessary costs such as transporting furniture around the world and significant spending on office plants.
Now, the company says it is entering a new phase of growth with a more efficient operating model and an increasingly international customer base.
NEO Investment Partners chairman David Belhassen said the combination of fashion and beauty had positioned the business strongly for its next stage of profitable growth.
CEO Sybille Darricarrère Lunel described the first operating profit as a “landmark moment” for Victoria Beckham.
She said the result reflected several years of disciplined management and strategic investment, making the achievement particularly significant given the challenging conditions across the luxury market.
After nearly two decades of setbacks, Victoria Beckham’s brand has finally crossed a major financial milestone — transforming from a struggling celebrity-backed label into a profitable fashion and beauty business.
